What You Need to Know
Review Your Current Coverage
Open Enrollment is an opportunity to review your current coverage, 2027 rates, and available Medicare Advantage, dental, and vision options.
What’s Changing About the Plan?
Current participants of the UCC Medicare Advantage Plan will be issued a new Humana ID card by mid-December. Your Humana member ID will remain the same but you should use the new ID card as of January 1, 2027. The new ID cards include information for pharmacy claims on the face of the card under your Humana member number.
The 2027 annual medical deductible is changing to $300. This was made to align health benefits across all plans.
If you are enrolled in the Vision Plan, billing will transition from an annual billing cycle to a monthly billing cycle beginning in January 2027.
Making an Enrollment Change
If you like your current coverage and benefits, you do not have to take any action. Your coverage will rollover automatically for the 2027 Plan Year. If you are considering a change, contact Member Services before making an enrollment decision if you have questions about your available options or the required process.
Medicare Enrollment Guides & Materials
Rates are only one component of the cost of coverage. Review applicable benefit summaries, cost-sharing requirements, provider-network information, prescription drug coverage, and formal plan materials before making an election.
